These images of model/actor Yvette Nelson were shot for a catalog (Color). But switching the shot into a B/W it now lends itself to a classic editorial look that so many magazines in the 60s used to publish. Today many photographer’s favor shooting on a gray backdrop for their editorials or just go outside to be inspired by whatever they can find. It’s also said that you should never let a model put her finger in her mouth or a hand on a hip like a teapot, it’s so blaze, but I like this shot with the sexy gypsy girl look and Yvette’s hand on her hip is just low enough to not be “My little teapot”, for me it works and that’s why I think it’s an eleven.
