I received an e-mail from model Emily Marilyn “The Queen of Kink”, about shooting some new content for her website. Emily has a member only website where you can see all her sexy S&M bondage images.
emilymarilyn.com I was very interested in shooting with her as I also had a member’s website at the time and would like to feature her posing for some naughty images for my members to review. Having shot for Penthouse® magazine over the years, I am very good at shooting content for erotic magazines and members only websites so I was looking forward to this shoot.
We set up a time and place in Los Angeles at a hotel on the Sunset Strip. I arrived at the hotel with my gear in a suitcase so I would not draw attention to myself as I was going to be shooting in one of the rooms with a very sexy model. Now knowing that I had to keep my gear small I only packed one light with a large soft-box as I was going to be shooting in the morning where I would have some natural light to work with. Once in the room I looked at the outfits Emily had with her and we decided were in the room we would shoot. I set up my soft-box coming from the direction of the main window so that it looked just like I was only using the natural light. In the images, you can see that the main light is lighting Emily from the one side with the other window behind her.
I was able to shoot at F5.6 to take the background out of focus and not make the background window look to over exposed. By letting the light drop off on one side it gave a shape to Emily’s body. When Emily was on the bed I moved around and got some fabulous shots as she crawled on it. I used a Canon EOS 10D with a Tamron 28-75mm zoom lens, F5.6 @ 125sec ISO-100. All these images were shot on May 17th 2007 If you were wondering why I used a low res digital camera. As you can see the images look fantastic, so some times you don’t have to have all those pixels to get a great image! I did take the images onto Photoshop® and made some changes with filters just to keep with the look I was going for.
