Rebecca Mary Sexy Boots

Rebecca Mary Sexy Boots

Here is another sensational shot of Rebecca Mary. I was shooting for Australian People magazine and thought I would offer a story and shots of Rebecca. I set up my studio with a white seamless and a white shinny board on the floor to give a nice reflection.
The backdrop had two lights in umbrellas pointing down onto the back of the white seamless this would keep my backdrop nice a white. The exposure would be about 1 ½ brighter than the front lights. The front lights were placed one above on a boom but low enough to be seen in the eye of the model the light was off to one side to act as a main fill light. I also placed one on the floor again pointing at the model this light was a softer exposure (Had a scrim over it) than the one on the boom it was also off to the other side so I could shoot straight onto the model and would not be in my way. (Line of sight).

I shot the images (strip only) with 2/4 film in my Hasselblad as I was in a transition from film to digital at that time. My Digital camera was a Canon 10D Lens was a Tamron 28-70mm you might think, that would not be good enough (Large image) for a print in a magazine? Well that is what was being used at the time with no issues its only that we have got better at making digital chips and we all think we should have more megapixels. Don’t be fooled about more megapixels it is really about clarity and light gathering. Don’t be taken in with more is better that’s about the camera companies who just want you to get the next model. There are so many other things that you need to know about your light that will help make a better picture. I do agree that having better efficient equipment is nice to have. Note: Rebecca had been given the boots and had them with her, I could not resist using them I love this sort of boot very sexy.
