Here is a fabulous shot you can do if you follow these rule’s. Have a model go on location with you & make sure you also bring a good makeup girl with you as well so that the makeup and hair are all fresh for the shot’s.
Find a space where there is nothing to busy in the background so you can put it out of focus, yes you will get some nice bokeh! We went to Joshua Tree, California for this shoot.
Make sure your outfit for the model is none distracting in my case we just used short jeans and the neckless, have the model to cover herself so that the shot can be use anywhere and not be classed as a nude or topless image.
At this location we had some wind that picked up and I just went with it, I also held off for the light to be where I wanted it to be, low and setting to one side of the model. This is what we called the golden hour you can see why in the images.
shot with a Canon camera with a 28-75mm Tamron lens at F5.6 200sec to freeze her hair as the wind was whipping it around the model’s head and body. My ISO was 100. I also used the flash on the camera to help bring up the shadow detal and also it put a catch light in the model’s eyes. I placed this image into Adobe® Photoshop to use a filter to pump up the color and give me the look I was going for, I control my light and my images on this shot, they don’t control me!
